What I'm thankful for...

As the Thanksgiving season comes upon us, and--quite frankly--as the gorgeous fall weather puts me in a rather good mood, I thought I'd post about the things I'm very grateful for right now.  Plus it serves as an update, for which I am long overdue.

First, I'm so grateful that I'm married to the guy who fits me better than I could ever have imagined.  I know our union is sacred because there's no way I could have found someone like him on my own.  Furthermore, a quarter of a century today, a wonderful woman gave birth to my husband.  So, happy birthday to Brett!  And thanks to the Petersons for raising such an incredible son.

Which brings me to the second thing I'm grateful for...

Family.  While it's hard to be away from the in-laws, we got to spend an entire weekend with them last week!  It was so good to catch up and just be with them again.

And while being away from Brett's family is not fun, it's been awesome to be so close to my family and to get to see Gloria and David grow up right in front of our eyes.  Last weekend, Brett and I got to enjoy an entire dance choreographed by Gloria and performed by Gloria, David, and Gloria's friend to Coldplay's "Clocks."

Which brings me to my next point of gratitude.

Coldplay.  They have a new album, Mylo Xyloto.  Check it out if you haven't already.

Finally, I'm grateful for Mondays, because on Mondays I get to go to Starbucks with one of my best friends in the world.  It's always good coffee and great conversation.  And who doesn't like that?

For now I will leave you with some pictures from two weekends ago.  Hope you are all enjoying this autumn day!
