Goodbye Paradise

Hello Friends!  It has been awhile since my last blog post, but my long awaited return has come.

As the month of July comes to an end, so does our time in picturesque SD.  I will miss many parts of our life in SD.  For instance, close proximity to family is awesome.  We eat lunch with Mom and Dad each Sunday --- that will be greatly missed.  Other notable misses will be (1) the Ransom Church (2) Becky Dunn (3) Quam & Berglin  (4) the USD Bible Study group and (5) South Dakota summers.

Currently we are in the process of packing up or giving away our few possessions.  Our apartment is now void of a few essentials such as our couch, kitchen table, and bed which have new homes.  Rebecka just loves siting, eating, and sleeping on the ground all day.

As for Tulsa, many of you may be wondering what lies in our future.  I am happy to say we both have jobs.  Rebecka accepted a Mathematics position at Tulsa Community College, and I'll be working at Ernst & Young which is an accounting firm.  We also found a pretty neat town house which you are all welcome to come and visit -- maybe even spend the night.

Thanks for reading!
Brett

  1. I've heard in some countries mattresses are completely optional... who needs comfort, anyway? :)

Glad to know you'll be in Oklahoma - that means when we visit sometime we'll be able to see you!
