After a road trip to Minneapolis, two flights, and three trains, we made it to my family's home in Trollhattan, Sweden, on Tuesday night!  We were welcomed to Sweden with an email announcing that I had passed my comps, so I breathed a sigh of relief, and vacation began.

Yesterday we spent the day in Gothenburg.  We visited the beautiful Botanical Gardens, took a boat tour of the nearly 400 year old city, visited with my grandma (whom I had to assure more than once that she was not going to be a great-grandmother anytime soon), and picked up my sister who flew in after her semester in Haifa!  It was a great day.

Since a picture's worth a thousand words, I shall leave you with a few of those...
