Dear South Dakota,
I'm writing a letter of sincere apology. This morning I was very upset with you because I awoke to cold air and colder rain. I complained. I moaned. But I am truly sorry. I didn't mean for my complaining to turn the rain into snow. I honestly didn't even know that was possible in mid-April.
If you turn the snow back into rain, I promise not to grumble. At least for the time being.
