The urge to blog hits very infrequently so I thought I'd take the time to write out some recent Brett & Rebecka events.
Rebecka is set to take two comprehensive finals tomorrow at 9am. The tests are simply ridiculous since the coursework for a Math masters is extremely difficult to begin with. Life will be better once the tests are passed. On a happy note, USD offered Rebecka a summer teaching position. Rebecka will have nearly 2 yrs of teaching experience by the time she graduates -- awesome!
Audit work is going swell. So far, my job has been a good mixture of field work and office work. I get confused daily, but so does my boss. I am set to take the first section of the CPA exam on November 22nd. Unlike Rebecka, I am not nearly as prepared. I have much work to do.
In better news, we are planning a trip to Sweden next June. Momma and Pappa Peterson will be accompanying us. Hopefully, this is just the start of many adventures with my parents. We booked with Iceland Airlines so we get to have a layover in Reykjavik, Iceland. The tickets were cheap -- hopefully Iceland Air is legit :)
While in Sweden, we have a mission to accomplish. The Peterson namesake is Swedish so we would like to find our ancestors homestead. According to my Dad's relatives, it is near the city of Linkoping which is where Rebecka's cousin attends school.
